The Alexandria Kiwanis Club is a local community service organization that helps volunteers in Alexandria, Virginia give back to the Northern Virginia area. We are part of Kiwanis International—a global charity organization made up of people like you. At the Alexandria Kiwanis Club, our members improve children's lives. We take part in community service projects. We raise money for great causes. And we enjoy the company of friends and fellow leaders.

Club Volunteer Activities

The Kiwanis Club's main goal is to directly serve children through hands-on service projects. We also provide funding to support organizations that align with our goals. The combined efforts of the Kiwanis Club of Alexandria and our affiliated Alexandria Kiwanis Foundation donate up to $80,000 per year to youth organizations and other community educational and charitable organizations primarily serving the children of Alexandria or Northern Virginia. Our members participate in several fundraisers during the year to raise a large portion of these funds.
